History
Around 2019, Abbey was washing some strawberries and had the idea of a sweary berry come to mind. She laughed to herself and shared the idea with her spouse who also laughed and immediately threw back another ridiculous berry rhyme. This continued back and forth and soon the kids were in on the game. Abbey began illustrating and after a couple years of laughing and illustrating these berry rhymes, Abbey compiled them and gave the compilation as a board book to her spouse for Christmas. He shared the book with friends and family. With encouragement, they decided to run a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds needed to publish the book with a USA printer. The campaign was successful and Very Very Berries first print run was completed in December 2023.

What’s Next?
The berry rhymes and illustrations have continued with Legendary berry, seen in the coloring book but not in the 1st edition of the board books. There are also many other berry rhymes Abbey has ideas for that she is working on as she has time.
